The Six-Package Test: How to Know Which Copy Project to Buy First

The Six-Package Test: How to Know Which Copy Project to Buy First

Every one of these six services solves a real, specific problem. None of them solves all of them, and buying the wrong one first is a common, avoidable way to spend a budget without moving the number you actually care about.

Here's the honest ordering logic, and the exceptions to it.

If you're about to scale — more writers, more channels, more markets — buy Brand Messaging & Voice first, even though it's not the cheapest entry point. Every other service produces better, more consistent output once there's a documented voice to write from. Skipping it doesn't save money; it just moves the inconsistency downstream, where it's more expensive to untangle across five channels instead of one document.

If your site itself is the problem — no international launch has happened yet, or the current site is the translated-brochure kind — start with Website Copy. It's the foundation the rest of the funnel sits on. A Landing Page built on top of a homepage nobody trusts still underperforms, because the visitor bounces back to check the “real” site before buying.

If you already have a site you trust, and the actual blocker is a live or upcoming campaign, skip straight to Landing & Sales Pages. You don't need to wait for a full rewrite to fix the one page traffic is actually landing on — that's the exact reason this service exists as its own, faster-turnaround offer.

If you're sitting on a list or a catalogue that isn't earning what it should, Email & Lifecycle Sequences and Product & E-commerce Descriptions are the two “ongoing volume” services, and they compound in a way one-off projects don't. An under-mapped welcome flow and an under-written product catalogue are both quietly expensive, every single day they stay that way.

And SEO Content & Articles is the one service that rewards patience over speed — buy it when you're planning 6+ months out, not when you need a result by Friday.

The exception to all of the above: if one specific page or channel is actively costing you money or credibility right now, fix that one first, and get the sequencing right on the next purchase. A theoretically perfect buying order is worth less than solving the problem that's actually on fire.
